. Enough is Enough: Kfar Darom Quits Hi-Rise Option

After more than three months in hotels, many expelled residents from Gush Katif and the Shomron - contrary to popular perception - still do not have housing solutions for the immediate future.

The 58 families of the former Jewish Gaza community of Kfar Darom, for instance, have been told time and again that their move to a high-rise building in Ashkelon was just a matter of time, and that they could expect to move within a short time. In fact, after several delays and postponements, some families actually began moving their belongings this week into what they thought would be their home for the coming 2-3 years.

But then came the last straw. The homeless citizens were told that the company that would be taking responsibility for the apartments - Amigur, a public housing provider - had a new series of demands, and that a new delay was forthcoming.

The Kfar Darom residents, who have remained a cohesive group despite the travails and uncertainty of the expulsion and, convened for an emergency meeting on Tuesday night, and decided: "The Ashkelon building is out."

The Disengagement Authority was apparently taken by surprise by the announcement, and immediately responded on two fronts: Via leaks to the media of "fury" at the residents for backtracking on the agreement, and by contacting Kfar Darom leaders and asking for a meeting, apparently as early as this evening.

"I don't know what will be," said one Kfar Darom resident, "but I can just say that this whole process is very taxing on our nerves."

Many families from N'vei Dekalim are also unsure about their future. Some of them are on their way to the Nitzan pre-fab community, north of Ashkelon, where the government has erected temporary homes - euphemistically calling them "caravilas" - for hundreds of families from Gush Katif.

Becky Winter, among the first N'vei Dekalim residents to move to Nitzan - she and her family moved in immediately after the expulsion - has taken upon herself to supervise the absorption of the new families. Her first priority is to find volunteers who can help: "Mainly we need handy volunteers who can help put together cabinets, do electric works, and the like." Within the coming weeks, 130 new families are expected.

Though 130 new homes are being prepared, this is not enough to meet the demand, and many families still have no solution.

In the meantime, the Disengagement Authority sent letters on Tuesday night to all the families who are "not eligible" - i.e., they did not own property in Gush Katif, but rather rented homes there - warning them that they must leave their hotels within a week. The families, both eligible and "not eligible" alike, reacted with resentment. "They expelled us from our homes and now they want to throw us out of the hotels," one N'vei Dekalim community council member was quoted as saying on Katif.net. "We will not cooperate with [this], and our friends who were uprooted from the Gush will leave the hotels only after an alternate housing site is found."

Rabbi Yosef AlNekaveh of N'vei Dekalim said, "Staying in a hotel is like forced hospitalization; we don't like it, and we want real homes. But as of now, there are no solutions for all the families. The state of Israel should have prepared communities for all of us."

The government made several decisions related to the expellees this week, including the following:

* 65 caravans [mobile homes without wheels] in Amatzia, between Beit Shemesh and Be'er Sheva. Each caravan is roughly 60 square meters large.

* The Construction Ministry must complete the construction of public buildings in Yad Binyamin, Ein Tzurim, Yated, and Yad Chana.

* The Agriculture Ministry will provide professional training for farmers "with the purpose of helping them transfer their activities to different climates and ground conditions than those they were accustomed to." Two courses of study will be offered: One in the Agriculture Faculty in Rehovot, where they can study five days a week for a year, and one in the Research and Development Farm in Eshkol, for one day a week for eight months.

* Aid will be given to some 30 families who move to Bustan HaGalil in the Galilee and open tourism businesses - bed-and-breakfasts - there.

This was the first time the Hizballah had sent a specially-trained
motorbike commando unit into action. Its mission was to kidnap
Israeli soldiers and bring them to Beirut for a macabre display in
Lebanon's Independence Day ceremonies Tuesday, Nov. 22. This was to
be an act of defiance against Israel and more particularly the
anti-Syrian government. DEBKAfile's sources do not confirm it was
instigated by Damascus and Tehran, as Israeli defense minister Shaul
Mofaz claimed. Nasrallah may have informed both governments, but his
essential motive was to grind his own axe in Lebanon.

Indeed he cast himself as the star of Lebanon's national day
ceremonies. The plan was to draw the world media to a spectacular
display of the captured Israeli troops, or their bodies, and publicly
invite Israel to negotiate their exchange against the release of
Lebanese and Palestinians in Israeli jails.

But most of all, the Hizballah leader sought to show up the Beirut
government and prime minister Fouad Siniora as impotents. The
Lebanese prime minister would not dare send troops against him to
free the Israelis – even though their abduction was a brazen
contravention of international law. He and his government would then
be dismissed by the Lebanese people and the Arab world as nonentities..

Nasrallah saw himself profiting from the kidnap stunt in five ways:

1. The anti-Syrian Siniora government would fall.

2. This would undo the considerable efforts America and France
invested since the February 2005 Hariri murder to establish a stable
government independent of Damascus.

3. With the government out of the way, no one would be left in
Lebanon to squeeze the Hizballah to disarm.

4. After this triumph, the Shiite terrorist group would recover its
rightful place at the center of Lebanon's power constellation.

Nasrallah needed to silence demands for his organization to give up
its weapons coming from Lebanese leaders like the Druze chief Walid
Jumblat. Last week, Jumblatt declared, "The people, not weapons will
protect resistance (to Israel) forces."

5. The Beirut government's downfall would derail the UN inquiry into
the assassination of the former Lebanese prime minister Rafiq Hariri,
whose progress depends heavily on government collaboration. Syrian
president Bashar Assad would not doubt be grateful for this important
service.

DEBKAfile's military and intelligence sources reveal that, in
readiness for the kidnap operation, the Hizballah three weeks ago
withdrew from the Beqaa Valley of eastern Lebanon its crack commando
unit of 300 to 400 men and deployed them in the south. A supply of
Katyusha rockets, anti-tank missiles and heavy mortars was also
transferred to the region, after withdrawals were made from Hizballah
s Beqaa weapons stores for the first time in five years.

These movements were picked up on the Israeli side and prompted the
high state of military preparedness declared intermittently in recent
weeks on the Israel-Lebanese border and the repeated warnings
Jerusalem conveyed to Beirut.

Neither appreciated how determined Nasrallah was to pull off his
ambitious project.

In fact, the offensive launched Monday, Nov. 21 at just before 15:00
hours local time, was the biggest and fiercest the Hizballah has ever
carried out against Israel. According to our military sources, 500
shells and rockets were fired in five hours, at the rate of 100 per
hour against military and civilian targets. Twelve Israelis were
injured, two seriously.

Israeli warplanes and artillery returned fire and air force
helicopters chased Hizballah firing crews in southern Lebanon,
killing at least 12.

Nasrallah's motorcyclist team was able to conquer both sides of Kfar
Ajar, but failed in its mission to kidnap Israeli soldiers, live or
dead. It ran into an ambush trap laid by an Israeli paratroop unit,
which hid in a house on the Israeli side of the village. A second
team was repulsed by the Israel Gladiola position on Mt. Dov.
Hizballah lost another four or five men in the two raids.

Nasrallah's plan therefore boomeranged against him. Instead of
snatching Israelis, Beirut is asking Israel to hand over the bodies
of the Hizballah casualties.

This does not mean he won't try again. Indeed the Hizballah chief is
far from giving up and is likely to do whatever it takes to bring his
plan to fruition. Israeli troops in the north therefore remain on a
high state of preparedness.

Modern Day MONEY CHANGERS

I'm convinced that the carnal, cunning, conniving, crooked crooks that Jesus drove out of the Temple are still among us today. These modern day moneychangers are forever devising new and deceptive doctrines to defraud God's people out of His/their money. These masters of deceit have now set up their changing tables throughout the Christian television industry.

I'm absolutely certain that if Jesus returned today He would walk into the vast majority of these television studios and overthrow the cameras, lights, monitors, and soundboards. He would unplug the microphones and scatter the makeup colors around as He went about destroying the stages and backdrops.

Several years ago now, a nationally known prophetic voice was told by the Lord, "I'm sick and tired of the prosperity message". If that was true then, how much more today. As far back as 1986, the top seven media evangelists took in over 750 million dollars. Now with the increased manipulation of 'seed faith teaching' that amount has no doubt been dwarfed by comparison.

Only a few days ago I was appalled as I watched and listened as Pastor "So & So" zealously twisted and distorted the Scriptures to his own advantage. This 'brother' dared to distort the most sacred truth of all Scripture. He used The Day Of Atonement, that day when Jesus Christ the Lamb of God shed His blood for the sins of the world, to teach that how we give financially determines how God will respond to us throughout the coming year. My blood boiled as I listened. This 'brother' had finally crossed the line and was now on the verge of blaspheming the atoning work of our blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, not to mention lining his own pockets with the proceeds. He might as well have been selling indulgences by inferring that God's favor toward us was based on our giving rather than God's unmerited grace and forgiveness through the gift of His Son. What made matters worse was that this same 'charlatan' was the guest of one of the nation's best known charismatic personalities. Within a day or so he was teaching the same message on a local Christian telethon. Neither the evangelist nor the network sought to correct his aberrant teaching – after all, the show must go on and that takes money, so how you raise it doesn't seem to matter anymore.

Why does almost every single Christian program have to end with some type of 'seed faith teaching'? If these men and women of faith really believed what they taught, they would practice what they preach and teach; after all what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Imagine how shocked you would be if your favorite televangelist and covenant partner were to send you a check in their next mailing for the amount of $1,000.00 with a personal note telling you he/she just wanted to sow into your life. Perhaps then I could believe that these men/women really believe and practice what they teach. Not only that, but they would never have to appeal for money again as God's return to them would result in a hundredfold increase. At least that's what they would have us to believe.

On a recent ministry trip to the Northwest, I was told by a pastor friend that his church had received a call from a well known and anointed teacher in the Body of Christ. The caller was asking them for a contribution towards the purchase of a jet for their ministry. What a far cry from what the Apostle Paul taught when he prefaced his teaching on 'sowing and reaping' with these words; " For this is not for the ease of others and for your affliction, but by way of equality." (II Cor. 8:13-14)

Many pastors measure their success in terms of numbers –the larger the church the more successful their ministry. Itinerant ministries, not being able to brag about size, seem to fall for the notion that having one's own jet is how success is determined. (Once it was the Rolex watch). By the way, if you love and appreciate this fine teacher, pray that he won't get the desires of his heart - it will only lead to the leanness of his soul.

This is one man's attempt to appeal to the Body of Christ. Stop pandering to these moneychangers. These men and women live like kings while spending your money to buy mansions and jets for themselves. They dine in the finest restaurants, wear the latest designer fashions and then have the audacity to tell you that you can live the same way as long as you give to their ministry.

I opened my Bible the other day to Zechariah's wonderful prophecy concerning the first coming of Jesus, our great and glorious King. Listen to his words; 'Behold your King is coming to you; He is just and endowed with salvation, humble, and mounted on a donkey, even on a colt the foal of a donkey.'( Zechariah 9:9 ) What a far cry from the televangelist who comes high and mighty and traveling on his own jet!

If you are as sick and tired as I am about this waste of God's money, then for heaven's sake STOP SUPPORTING THESE PEOPLE. Give your money to your local church or other servant ministries. There are tens of thousands of needy missionaries who barely have enough support to keep themselves alive. They are laboring long and hard under some of the most difficult and trying conditions. They would rejoice at the thought of an extra $10-30 dollars a month support. These are the real heroes of whom the world is not worthy. Help put these MONEY LOVING TELEVANGELISTS OUT OF BUSINESS and save another MISSIONARY FROM EXTINCTION. Together we can make it happen.

Jordanians are shocked

Jordanians are shocked that Islamic terrorists would blow up families, including families celebrating a wedding. They are so shocked that for the first time in history, Muslims have taken to publicly demonstrating against Islamic terror.

And why are they shocked? Because the terrorists blew up Jordanians. As long as Islamic terrorists blew up men, women and children who are Jewish, Christian, Hindu, American, Australian and black Sudanese, the Arab and larger Muslim worlds were not particularly disturbed. In fact, Palestinians, who comprise the majority of Jordan's population, celebrated when Jews were blown up at Passover seders and at weddings. And they took to the streets and cheered in the Palestinian fashion, handing out candy, when Americans were incinerated in office buildings.

For some reason, Palestinians, most other Arabs and many Muslims around the world thought that the credulity-straining evil of targeting the most innocent for death, paralysis, blindness and brain damage would be confined to non-Arabs and non-Muslims. In fact, the idea that this Palestinian-made cancer would target Arab Muslims is so inconceivable to most Arabs that many now believe the terror attack in Amman was orchestrated by Jews (the Israeli Mossad).

Of course, Arab Muslim men, women and children are blown up almost weekly in Iraq, but, hey, that's OK because the monsters doing it hate America and seek Israel's annihilation. And in the Arab world -- and in much of the Muslim and leftist worlds -- hatred of America and Israel gets you a moral pass. In the Arab/Muslim worlds (with individual exceptions, of course), as among the world's leftists, an act is almost incapable of being judged evil if it is committed by those who hate America (especially the America of George W. Bush) or Israel.

In a previous column, I proposed that supporters of the war in Iraq ask opponents of the war just one question: Without in any way compromising your opposition to the war, would you at least acknowledge that the people we are fighting in Iraq are evil? Virtually every one of the many letters I received from readers opposed to the war was incapable of answering in the positive. By fighting America and George W. Bush, the "insurgents" are essentially inoculated against moral judgment.

Likewise it has been nearly impossible for the Arab, Muslim and leftist worlds to morally condemn the blowing up of Israelis.

"Palestinians have no Apache helicopters -- what do you expect them to do?"

"They are simply resisting occupation."

"The Israelis are also terrorists."

These arguments of the Left, the Arab world and countless other Muslims have given the Islamic terrorists the moral green light to continue their atrocities.

Until, that is, they inflicted one of these atrocities on Arabs in the land of the Palestinians. So, at least for the time being, the sight of charred and dismembered Arab families at a wedding has trumped the anti-Americanism and anti-Zionism of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's killers.

Now there is widespread condemnation of Zarqawi's terror in Jordan. There is even a fear that the name of Islam will suffer. Unfortunately, however, it is only because Zarqawi was foolish enough to massacre Jordanian civilians, and not

Let My People Sue...For Their Dignity

Three months ago, 10,000 people were forcibly evicted by the Israeli
Government from their privately owned homes and farms in 25 Jewish
communities in GUSH KATIF, NORTHERN GAZA AND Northern Samaria. A few days later, all of their homes were bulldozed into rubble. An estimated 400 public buildings were not destroyed. Even though clause seven of the
Disengagement Law forbid Israel from handing over any assets to anyone
"involved in terrorist activity", the government of Israel ignored the law
and handed over these buildings to the Palestinian Authority, even after
the PA had proclaimed that terrorist organizations would be given many of
these buildings.

Unlike the Yamit evacuation of 5,000 people in 1982, where families were given three years to resettle, these people were given six months to leave, from the time of the Knesset decision on February 20th until their eviction on August 15th, 2005.

The final decision of the Israel High Court of Justice, on which the Katif and Samaria communities had pinned their legal hopes, was held on June 6th, 2005, when the Israel High Court of Justice upheld the Disengagement Law, despite the opinion of the court that it violated the human rights and civil liberties basic law of the state of Israel.

Despite the publicly accepted notion that the people from Katif and Samaria
were not making preparations to leave, the fact is that as early as November 2004, these communities designated the lawyers of the Israel Legal Forum to negotiate for compensation agreements with the Israeli government.
However, the government refused to begin negotiating with their duly
appointed legal representatives until April, 2005.

Meanwhile, Deputy Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres informed the Israeli
media on July 7th, 2005 that the US government would provide more than two billion dollars to cover the costs of the disengagement.

However, on June 25th, 2005, Israel Resource News Agency had already been informed by top U.S. Congressional Sources that no U.S. money would be forthcoming for the disengagement process, which Israel had declared as a unilateral act.

This was two months before Hurricane Katrina hit the lives and pocketbooks
of so many Americans

Therefore, the government of Israel has been slow to offer compensation to the people who were evicted from their homes. As of November 15th, 2005,
75% of the people evicted had received no compensation whatsoever, at a
time when 85% of these people were still unemployed, after having been
expelled from communities of full employment.

As a result, the people who were evicted need help to go to court to sue
for the basics of compensation. The pro-bono lawyers who have helped the
evictees do not have the ability to sue on the issues that follow, without
basic fees and coverage of court costs.


Here are some of the issues which the evacuees must sue for:

1. Mental cruelty, as evidenced by petty requests for documentation
before any compensation would be given: 29-year-old phone bills, old
report cards,letters addressed to them to prove that they really lived in
the homes that they lived in, while the Israeli government disengagement
authority, known as The Sela Authority,gave inaccurate information to the
media that "almost all of the evacuees had received the compensation that they had coming to them". A couple in their eightees who had gone through concentration camps who left in July had not received one shekel of compensation, as of November 15th, 2005.

2. Loss of livelihood. Many of the self-employed people from these
communities were denied employment benefits. Many of those who worked for non profit organizations in the area of health, education and welfare were
also denied unemployment benefits..

3. Business people whose businesses were worth $150,000-200,000 have been offered less than fifteen percent of the worth of their businesses, and
they must spend their own savings to go to court to appeal for increased compensation for their businesses.

4. Three months after their eviction, the majority of farmers still do not have appropriate land or arrangements and they stand to lose their export markets abroad. They have already lost several seasons, and the katif people estimate that only 10% of the farmers will be able to return to agriculture. Meanwhile, some produce exporters where offered menial jobs
at minimum wage.

5. "Guilty until proven innocent" was one of the reasons used in delaying the compensation, because "maybe" the evacuee did something violent AND/OR was arrested during the expulsion. If a person got into a scuffle while being evicted from his home, why should he lose the value of his home? If a teenager whose behavior was not appropriate, why should that family lose the value of their home?
Meanwhile, the vast majority of families who are being denied any compensation have no police files or charges whatsoever against them

7. Loss of investment in homes. No compensations was offered for porches, storage rooms, or other improvements they added to
their homes. "ADVANCE COMPENSATION" for homes was given to people whose original small homes were purchased 20 years ago, and ONLY 75% OF THAT.

8. Damage to students. Students did not have the opportunity to do
matriculation exams properly, or start college properly. Younger students
were shuffled from school to school. The government refused to recognize
the school and kindergarten in the improvised town of Ir Haemuna, while
"Special needs children" in Ir Haemuna had to fight to get PARTIAL
treatment, two months after school began.

9. A family whose loved one pass away during this period of temporary housing was forced to pay the government $6,000 for a burial plot, since free burial is only provided to a home town residents of a given municipality. Only after Israel Resource News Agency revealed this, an Israeli Government Minister intervened to return the check to the bereaved family.

10. Families are still forced to pay regular mortgage payments for homes and farms that the government of Israel bulldozed three months ago. Paying out a monthly mortgage for rubble seems highly unusual.

11. Families must invest tens of thousands of shekels for storage in since
they will live in mobile homes for two or three years. IN ADDITION, THEY
MUST SPEND LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY FOR WINTER CLOTHES WHILE THEY CANNOT ACCESS THEIR CONTAINERS.

12. Hundreds of people who were arrested during the expulsion are confined
to their homes under house arrest, because of decisions rendered by the
Israeli courts that they are "ideological criminals" who are "dangerous to
society".

In conclusion, many good hearts have opened up to these people who were
living proud and productive lives until their expulsion. However, much of
the charitable help that has been rendered to the evacuees has caused
further trauma to these people, as they are rendered a new status as
"charity cases". Indeed, immediately following the expulsion, major
organizations allocated hundreds of school bags to the estimated 3,800
children who had no schools to go to, little means of support and no access
to their own clothes. These gifts were received with mixed feelings.

The highest level of giving to someone in distress is to help that person
the chance to stand on their feet once again.

The people who were kicked out of their homes need help to go to court to
redress their grievances, to regain their dignity.

Our news agency would be pleased to refer people to the proper addresses to help these people to sue...indeed, to regain some of their dignity.

At a time when efforts are under way in Israel to force thousands more people from their homes, the timing of this litigation could not be more
appropriate.

Islamic Radicals Plan World Revolution from Temple Mount

Islamic radicals have been using the Temple Mount as a focal point for planning and preaching the establishment of a world Islamic state with Jerusalem as its capital.
One of the radical groups operating on the Temple Mount is Hizab Altahrir (The Islamic Liberation Party), which espouses an ideology similar to Al Qaeda. Hizab Altahrir’s network spans most Western European countries. The party puts Islamic revolution and an uncompromising form of Jihad (holly war) at the top of its political agenda.
The group advocates subjecting the entire world to Islamic law (Shariya), and destroying non-believing nations and religions.
The party has targeted Europe, specifically Denmark, for spreading its ideology, and providing a springboard for renewing Islamic conquests in Europe. A senior party activist in Jerusalem, Sheikh Issam Amira, expressed this philosophy in a recent speech which he made on the Temple Mount:
“Listeners! The Moslems in Denmark make up three percent [of the population], yet constitute a threat to the future of the Danish kingdom. It’s no surprise that in Bitrab (the ancient name of Medina, a city in Arabia to which Mohammed immigrated) they were fewer than three percent of the general population, but succeeded changing the regime in Bitrab.
“It’s no surprise that our brothers in Denmark have succeeded in bringing Islam to every home in that country. Allah will grant us victory in their land to establish the [Islamic] revolution in Denmark.”
After Denmark, the Sheikh said, the party will carry the revolution to Oslo and change its name to Medina. “They will fight against their Scandinavian neighbors in order to bring the country into the territory of the revolution,” he said. “In the next stage, they will fight a holy jihad to spread Islam to the rest of Europe, until it spreads to the original city of Medina where the two cities will unite under the Islamic flag.”
Sheikh Riyad Salah, head of the Islamic movement in Israel has also been active teaching the tenets of “Islamic revolution.”
“We are at the gates of the Islamic revolution,” he proclaims in his sermons to Arab citizens of Israel. “The global forces of evil will be eliminated from the world and the Islamic nation will remain in place in order to bring about the world Islamic revolution, with its capital, Jerusalem.”


Salah, who until a few months ago was under arrest for allegedly assisting an organization connected to the Hamas terror group, has for a number of years been attempting to organize Israel’s Arab citizens into an “independent Palestinian society,” disconnected from the State of Israel and its institutions.


Salah’s organization contributed to efforts to repair Arab mosques on the Temple Mount, and also attempts to erase the remains of Jewish antiquities on the Mount.
This is the same threat which Israel is facing today. As is seen by the recent video of the speech made in a mosque by Sheik Ibrahim Mudeiris.

Palestinian religious leader calls in Hitler-like way for war against the Jewish people – urging Muslims and Palestinian Arabs to root out this cancer (or vermin, as Hitler called the Jews) from their Muslim midst.

Speaking on official Palestinian Authority Television on May 13, 2005, during Israel’s Independence Day, the hate-filled preacher said: “With the creation of the State of Israel the whole ISLAMIC Nation was lost.”

So what has changed – dear Mrs. Condoleezza Rice – taught international politics by the father of Mrs. Madeleine Albright, the man who became your favorite mentor – Dr. Josef Korbel, whose family denied their Jewish heritage.
Will America, Europe, and the other nations of the world once again stand idly by and allow a second holocaust to take place – this time on the Jewish soil of Israel – without lifting as much as a finger? As bad as standing by, this is what you are doing by assisting and even pushing for those who have the same hopes and aspirations Hitler did to acquire an independent state of their own which, as they themselves openly say, will help them accomplish their fiendish goals?

He didn't tolerate that type of sin then; and He won't tolerate it now.

One of the things that the Lord allowed me to learn in Jamaica, was that the church world was also involved in witchcraft and satanism...

At that time it was more prevelant there, than in this country. There the people doesn't care if you know they are living double lives...

But in the church, you never knew who was sitting next to you, until you opened your mouth and shared that you were having a problem with certain people; or was sick and couldn't get well, etc.

The person sitting next to you or someone who was a part of that paricular church would say to the person, "I KNOW SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP YOU"

The Lord said to me while overseas, to tell His people, that He did not appreciate them coming into His house, singing to Him, shouting and praising Him...and then go to what they call the "mudder woman"...the witch, to get there answers or healing...

My God...

They were not to seek out the 'observer of the times'...in other words..seeking out those who could tell them the future using the 'crystal ball', or even the 'reading the horoscope'.

6. May 27, 2001 : a car bomb exploded at the corner of Jaffa and Cheshin streets. Twenty-one wounded.

7. July 29, 2001 : a car bomb exploded in the underground parking lot of an apartment complex on Moshe Dayan boulevard in the Pisgat Ze'ev neighborhood. Three wounded.

8. August 21, 2001 : a car bomb exploded at the corner of Horcanus and Heleni Hamalka streets close to the Russian Compound. There were no casualties.

9. September 3, 2001 : an explosive device in the trunk of a commercial vehicle belonging to the Jerusalem municipality exploded on Plotzki street . Six wounded.

10. October 1, 2001 : a car bomb exploded on Bethlehem street . Three wounded.

11. December 3, 2001 : a car bomb exploded on Haganah street in the commercial center of the French Hill. Four wounded.

A total of 11 car bomb attacks (one in 2000 and ten in 2001) in Jerusalem, killing 2 Israelis.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad suicide bombing attacks in Jerusalem foiled
Israeli security forces arrested Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist-operatives behind the suicide bombing attack at the Stage nightclub in Tel Aviv on February 25, 2005. Under interrogation they admitted that recently three attempts to infiltrate suicide bombers from the West Bank into Jerusalem had failed. The incident again shows that the Damascus-led PIJ continues its efforts to carry out mass terrorist attacks within Israel despite the current lull in the hostilities. Abu Mazen’s protests that the era of suicide bombers has ended notwithstanding, PIJ activity shows that suicide bombing attacks in Israel cities have not yet come to an end.

The arrest of PIJ terrorist-operatives
On February 25, 2005, there was a suicide bombing attack at the Stage nightclub on the Tel Aviv seaside promenade, during which five Israeli civilians were murdered. Responsible for it were PIJ terrorist cells from Tulkarm and Jenin. Since the attack, a great deal of information has been gathered regarding PIJ intentions to continue carrying out suicide bombing attacks within Israel despite the current lull.


Recently information was received according to which PIJ terrorist-operatives from the central West Bank (Bethlehem region), instructed by the PIJ infrastructure in Tulkarm and Jenin headed by Luai Sa’adi, were planning to carry out a suicide bombing attack in Jerusalem. As a result, on May 30, 2005, Iyyad Fawajra was arrested on his way from Ramallah to Bethlehem, having previously met with a PIJ activist.

Subsequently five other PIJ terrorists were arrested:


Hamza ‘Abd al-Rahim Hussein Brijia , 27, a resident of Ma’sara, a village in the Bethlehem district. On February 28, 2005, he was released from administrative detention where he had been placed as a result of his PIJ terrorist activity; headed the PIJ infrastructure in Bethlehem.

Enlisting and briefing suicide bomber guides
During interrogation Iyyad Fawajra stated that a few days earlier he had been enlisted by Hamza Brijia to guide PIJ suicide bombers into Ramot, a Jerusalem neighborhood, to carry out a suicide bombing attack on a bus or at a coffee shop.
Iyyad Fawajra stated that following orders, on May 22 he left for Jerusalem and waited in Beit Hanina (north of the city) for two suicide bombers who were supposed to arrive from the northern West Bank ( Samaria). When they did not arrive, he was instructed to go to the meeting place again the following day. At that time they did arrive, carrying two bags full of explosives.

Attempts to guide the suicide bombers into Jerusalem
Iyyad Fawajra tried to take the suicide bombers into Jerusalem to carry out the attack. When he was unsuccessful, he hid the explosives near Beit Hanina and the two terrorists returned to Tulkarm. On May 25 and 26 Iyyad Fawajra met Muhammad Radad in Ramallah and received both money from him to fund his further activities and additional instructions regarding the attack.

Another attempt to infiltrate suicide bombers into Jerusalem.
On May 30 a meeting was held in Ramallah; present were Iyyad Fawajra and Muhammad Radad, who liaised between PIJ terrorists in Tulkarm and Judea. Iyyad Fawajra was instructed to acquire a vehicle to drive the suicide bombers to Jerusalem, because the PIJ was going to make another attempt to guide them.
He was told to bring the vehicle to Tulkarm on June 2, 2005, and from there to drive the suicide bombers to Israel for the attack. When he returned from Ramallah to Bethlehem he was arrested and interrogated. During his interrogation he confessed and revealed the PIJ’s plan to attempt another suicide bombing attack in Jerusalem. During the past few days others involved in the proposed attack were arrested.1

1. On June 2 two additional terrorists were arrested, who had planned to carry out a double suicide bomber in Jerusalem. One was stopped at the Surda checkpoint north of Ramallah and the other close to the Israeli settlement of Homesh.


Detonating the explosives in Beit Hanina
On the night of May 30 Iyyad Fawajra pointed to the spot near Beit Hanina where the bags with the explosives were hidden. Two bags (See above) were uncovered and detonated by the Israeli police bomb unit.
Examination of the bags showed that explosives covered with nails and shrapnel had been placed inside cardboard boxes . The triggers were on-off switches which were to be activated by the suicide bombers.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad lied and denied all responsibility for the planned suicide bombing attacks in Jerusalem
A PIJ spokesman in Bethlehem claimed that the PIJ was committed to the lull and denied the Israeli announcements regarding the foiled suicide bombing attacks in Jerusalem (PIJ Internet site, June 2, 2005).

A senior PIJ activist stated that “the forces of occupation invent ways to evade their responsibilities, the most important of which is to retreat from the Palestinian cities.” He added that if there were operatives who intended to carry out attacks against “Zionist targets,” took take it upon themselves and it was their own “personal responsibility,” not a directive coming from high up in the PIJ.

Conclusion

The arrests exposed the existence of a large-scale PIJ infrastructure based in the Tulkarm-Jenin region with branches in Ramallah and Bethlehem. The arrests show that the PIJ, particularly the group which planned and carried out the suicide bombing attack at the Stage nightclub in Tel Aviv, is undaunted in its efforts to continue carrying out deadly suicide bombing attacks, despite the existence of a lull and its claims that it is committed to the lull.
It should be noted that according to newspaper reports,2 the Israeli Security Agency several times gave the Palestinian security services names of members of the PIJ infrastructure and asked that they be arrested. The Palestinian security services did nothing and Palestinian representatives even asked various officials in Israel for pardons for the wanted men.

In 1981, a Semi Submersable Rig, The Ocean Ranger, was brought here to drill , offshore, on the Grand Banks. These offshore Rigs are built to drill in certain Depts of water, this rig, nick named, The Ocean Danger, by Local workers, was drilling in 100 feet, LESS, than what it was built for and in addition, Haliburton and Mobil, added weight, to it's top deck, with their Recording and Testing Units, which meant it needed more water to be Safe in. In 1982, during a winter Storm, this Rig, Colapsed and sank, not one person was saved. The Comissioner, for the Inquiry and The Chief Justice of the Newfoundland Supreme Court, Judge, T. Alex Hickman, remember this name, SAID, The Companies were neither Responsible or Liable for what happened to this Oil Rig or the Lives of the Crew LOST. The families of 82 Oil Rig Workers, recieved no compensation. The Hickman Family and a few other Families, own this Province and it's Recources along with THEIR American Partiners, and you or I, will never recieve any benifit from any of it. This Province and it's Businesses, pay far more taxes on money spent here, than is ever earned, in this small island, we help Launder through our, Building Industry, Taxi Cabs, Tourism and almost every type of business you can name, which exists here, That statement was made by the RCMP in 2000.

What has 'disengagement' bought?

At first it was touted as a means to freeze the headlong rush to birth a Palestinian Arab state that would certainly endanger Israel's security and even existence.

When it became clear the West would never allow Israel's “disengagement” from Gaza and northern Samaria to serve such a purpose, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon promised Israelis a package of other long-sought benefits they would certainly reap by quitting those areas of their biblical homeland.

American support for the annexation of more strategically important parts of Judea and Samaria, a major decrease in “Palestinian” terror, a freer hand to war against those terrorists who did continue to attack, and the heading off of an internationally imposed solution were all placed on the table as rewards for surrendering parcels of land the Sharon government insisted were undesirable anyway.

A full month has passed since the last IDF soldier left Gaza and the area reverted to full Arab control.

And yet, those benefits have not even begun to be realized. In fact, the opposite of what Israelis were promised is happening.

Washington has not come out in support of Israel's perpetual retention of large settlement blocs in Judea and Samaria (which in America's view includes eastern Jerusalem), but has rather publicly criticized and condemned the construction of every new Jewish apartment and home in those areas.

Successful “Palestinian” terror attacks – including shootings, “suicide” bombings and artillery bombardments – are actually increasing for the first time in two years.

Security officials report that terrorist efforts to transfer personnel and weapons from Gaza to Judea and Samaria and perpetrate attacks from there are accelerating at a tremendous rate.

Israel's ability to combat this terrorist phenomenon with the kind of force needed to end it has not increased, even after unprecedented rocket barrages. Instead, Israel's hands are more tied than ever as a direct result of its withdrawal from Gaza and northern Samaria.

Washington insists that pullout started fresh momentum towards a final peace settlement, and will not countenance Israel jeopardizing the timetable by unleashing any kind of serious military action to defend its citizens.

Recent statements of understanding for Israel's right to defend itself have without fail been accompanied by demands that Israel consider the consequences of its actions and practice unheard of restraint.

As for international efforts to impose the outlines of a final peace upon Israel, the disengagement has anything but halted those.

That became apparent even as the last troops left Gaza, an action Israel insisted it was implementing unilaterally and on its own terms.

Just one month later, Israel has been bullied into accepting the international community's position on freedom of passage through Gaza's borders.

No Israeli will directly monitor the Gaza-Sinai border – the primary gateway for “Palestinian” terrorist arms – and Palestinian Arabs will begin traveling between Gaza and Judea even before adequately proving they will not use that freedom of movement to perpetrate additional acts of terrorist aggression.

And already there are among international power brokers voices of support for the PLO claim that Israel's gesture of peace is incomplete without an accompanying withdrawal from Judea and Samaria.

The Gaza retreat resulted in a wave of optimism that a final peace agreement and the birth of Palestine are just around the corner.

With the international community fully aware that the Arabs are not willing to compromise, and armed with new proof that Israel can in fact be made to surrender, guess who is going to have the other's terms imposed upon them for the sake of achieving that “peace”?

For those willing to see reality, none of this comes as a surprise.

The question now is will all of this serve as the wake up call Israel needs to finally realize it can never satisfy the Arab world or the international community but through its complete surrender and demise?

Or will Israelis continue to pay in blood for the shortsightedness and nai"vete' of their leaders?

1. Living in a Cage of Gold

Eleven weeks after the disengagement, many of the expelled families continue to be shuffled along from one short-lived proposed solution to another. Reports from Katif, Slav, Bdolach and Jerusalem.

Former Gush Katif residents and several Likud MKs met this week at the Jerusalem Gold Hotel, where many of the families have been deposited. One woman from N'vei Dekalim cried out,
"What do you want? That we should just evaporate? Every plan that arises falls a second later because there is no money or whatever. You had money to put up new gravestones, so that there wouldn't be a scandal - but money for a roof over our heads you don't have. What harm did we do to you? Everyone says that the disengagement is behind us - but behind who? We're jailed here in the hotel. Our lives are stuck in a container and we don't see an end."

B'Sheva correspondent Ariel Kahane visited the Gold Hotel this week, and reported,
"Two and a half months after the erasure of the communities, and the emotional stability of the residents is deteriorating. Thousands of them are still closed up in cages of gold, conducting lives on the fringe of sanity. Children are sometimes locked out of their parents' automatic-lock rooms, while others receive a cold stare of rebuke from hotel workers for having taken an apple from the kitchen between meals. Some teenagers steal out of their rooms in the middle of the night to who-knows-where, while their parents in the other room have no control; their own situation is not much better."

"This impossible situation," Kahane writes, "weakens their stature, and accelerates fissures in their family structure. Many of the adults are not working, and there are already couples that are beginning to crack because of the forced idleness."

The problems do not exist only in the hotels. Many of the several hundred families in the new caravila [small and temporary pre-fab housing] village of Nitzan, north of Ashkelon, have no jobs and an uncertain housing future. The former Gush Katif community of Bdolach is a prime example:

Some 35 Bdolach families (out of close to 40 that lived there on the eve of the expulsion) are currently in Nitzan - but of these, 30 were farmers, and only one of them has begun to work the fields!

"That particular man was both industrious and fortunate," said Chaim B., who lived in Bdolach for the last six months of its existence, "as his parents had a plot of land on a moshav that they were not working, so he took it over. But everyone else is reduced to waiting for solutions from the government - and this involves finding land, problems of its distance from their homes, what type of agriculture, beginning anew, and the like. For people in their late 40's and 50's, it's not easy to start again - and especially when so much is settled."

Chaim said that though there was much to do until now - "all sorts of arrangements, preparing for the holidays, etc." - now begins a potentially dangerous period of near-total idleness and boredom. "Some of the men used to study for an hour or two each day in the nearby Torat HaChaim yeshiva in N'vei Dekalim [which has re-located to Yad Binyamin, a half-hour drive away - ed.], but that arrangement has not yet been reinstated... They need jobs!"

For others, the problems of boredom have not yet begun - because they are still busy figuring out where to live for the coming months. Some 30 families of the former Moshav Katif have moved to the King Saul Hotel in Ashkelon, after having lived for two months in the dormitories of the Kfar Pines Girls High School. Ten other Katif families moved to the Atzmonah "Faith City" (Ir HaEmunah) encampment near Netivot, hoping to join up with their former townsmen as soon as possible.

Though they have chosen a site for the new permanent community they wish to build - in the Lachish area - they have been on a roller-coaster ride regarding where to live for the coming two years. The possibility of Eibim near Sderot was nixed at the last moment by the government; Nehushah was on the table for a while but became irrelevant; Even Shmuel was then proposed - and now Moshav Amatziah appears to be the most likely.

Aryeh, of Moshav Katif, told Arutz-7 today, "Some of our people are right now on a tour of Amatziah, and this could be the best option, as it is very close to our permanent site. Even the government appears to be coming towards us, hoping that we will be their first successful community; until now the government has not succeeded in finding a communal solution for even one town! The high-rise apartment building for Kfar Darom is still stuck, etc., and they're hoping that they can succeed with us. They've even offered to build a new road between Shomeriyah, where Atzmonah is supposed to go, and Amatziah, so that we'll be able to send our children to school there. We have also asked for special consideration - larger caravans - for our large families. We hope that within a week or two, we'll have answers as to whether, once and for all, something will finally work out."

Aryeh explained that Moshav Katif is currently divided up into four different locations - two Ashkelon hotels, Yad Binyamin, and Ir HaEmunah - and that they greatly fear that they will not end up together in one community. "One of the main reasons we are so anxious to remain unified," he explained, "in addition to simply wanting to retain our beautiful community, is to help the 6-7 families that for various reasons are not eligible for government help. We don't want them to fall by the wayside."

One community that did not survive the expulsion and simply shattered into small pieces is Slav. Formerly located in the southwestern tip of the Gaza Strip, Slav was a small and young town of only 12 families - each of which is now on its own. One family with two children had been living for the past several weeks in one room in the Otzem pre-military preparatory yeshiva, where the husband studied, but the conditions finally became unbearable; they moved this week, on their own, to a private apartment near her parents. Other families live in Ir HaEmunah, Yad Binyamin, or on their own - and the community of Slav no longer exists.
